The Red Dragons kept up their unbeaten start to the League One campaign by overpowering a Shrewsbury side currently in the relegation zone. Co-owner McElhenney was delighted by the news as he checked to see their success.

Posting on X, McElhenney shared a screenshot of the Leauge One table as well as one showing his favourite NFL team, Philadelphia Eagles, top of their conference after winning their first game of the year.
He wrote: "Long way to go but never too early to celebrate the highs. Up the Town. Go Birds."
